Jason Brooks, Partner

In 2000 Jason graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Advertising. Upon graduation, Jason began honing his design skills at Pridnia Design, a firm in downtown Lansing, Michigan, and later at Primedia Publishing in Chicago, Illinois. In 2004 Jason founded jbrooksdesign, inc. and through the years the company has grown to include two additional partners, a designer, a sales manager, and very talented programmers. With eleven years of award-winning experience in design, Jason is an expert in providing very fast, economical, and creative solutions for a wide-range of companies both large and small.

Troy Miller, Partner

Troy is a creative designer with twelve years of experience in client-based solutions including web design, creative direction, brand solutions, and print. Troy graduated with a BFA degree in Graphic Design and Photography from Michigan State University and has received several notable awards including an interactive/multimedia recognition award, KAC, East Lansing, MI and a Citation of Excellence Award from the American Advertising Federation for a logo designed for the Lansing Advertising Club. 

Sonia Scappaticci, Partner

Sonia brings a varied general market and Hispanic advertising background to the table. Prior to joining jbrooksdesign inc., Sonia was an Account Supervisor at JWT, handling Ford Super Duty’s “Built Ford Tough” national advertising account. Sonia also spent several years at Leo Burnett Chicago working on a variety of InBev’s beer brands (Beck’s, Tecate, Brahma). A strong believer that great creative work can also achieve outstanding sales results, one of her proudest moments was winning a Gold Effie for Tecate beer. Additional national brand experience includes Kraft Foods Inc. and S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. Sonia graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Advertising. 

Jon DeBoer, Photographer-at-Large

Jon graduated from Lawrence Tech University in 2010 with a BFA in Graphic Design. In addition to being a graphic and motion graphics designer, Jon is an award-winning photographer. He has exhibited work at the Bean & Leaf Cafe in Royal Oak, Studio Couture Detroit and received an honorable mention award in the Exposures ‘11 photography exhibit at the Lawrence Street Gallery. He also received second place in the Spirit of Detroit photography competition in London.
